Course Description
The forum will discuss current vaccines, challenges related to influencing public opinion about the safety and efficacy of the vaccine and evidence-based approach to addressing vaccine hesitancy in an internal medicine practice and in community venues across the state. The focus of the session is to help physicians and healthcare teams to best prepare with facts and strategies to aid in conversations with their patients about vaccine hesitancy, especially among disproportionally affected minority communities.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to:
• Increase competence in immunization language and communications among patients
• Apply updated knowledge and communication strategies to improve dialogue with patients about COVID-19 vaccines
