Council of Early Career Physicians
The Texas Chapter of the ACP honors an active ACP member that demonstrates leadership in community services that has been in practice for at least ten years every year in conjunction with the annual meeting. The Early Career Physician Leader of the Year Award is the most prestigious recognition of achievement for young physicians. Recipients of this award are recognized for their outstanding achievement in the areas of academics, leaderships, and/or advocacy for the field of internal medicine. Do you know someone who dedicates their career to internal medicine, who is a leader in their community and who is an activist in ACP that you could nominate for the 2013 Early Career Physician Leader of the Year Award? If so, please e-mail their information to Claire Foster at the TXACP business office at claire.foster@texmed.org.
