The Texas Chapter of the ACP is the award-winning American College of Physicians (ACP) Chapter and is the nation's largest medical specialty society. We are one of the college's most active state societies and one of Texas' largest state medical societies. Our members include generalists and subspecialists, residents, fellows, and medical students.
At the national and state levels, the Texas Chapter and ACP together provide a powerful voice for our specialty and patients on such issues as Medicare reform, patients' rights, physician compensation, and especially, patients' access to health care. A shared commitment to the highest degree of professionalism in clinical care, medical research, education, and advocacy sets ACP members apart in the competitive field of internal medicine and its subspecialties.

How to Join?
You must be a member of ACP to become a member of the Texas Chapter.
Medical students may apply for membership online. Membership is free.
Resident/Fellow can obtain an application for Resident and Fellows-in-training membership online. ACP dues are $119.
